We know Alfred Hitchcock is iconic for all things thrills and chills. If you’re in the mood for a perfect Halloween throwback movie, City Cinemas’ got you. Spend your Thursday nights all October long watching some of his most famous movies, or head there on Halloween day to catch the most famous Hitchcock film, Psycho.

Dirty Circus: Halloween

A little dirty humor with a lot of risque acts, such as aerial dancers, burlesque performers, and more gives you the House of Yes Dirty Circus. This particular show gives a Halloween spin, with just a bit more costume and a lot more action. Some acts may get a little wet with an option to sit in the Splash Zone. There’s also a very special seat, which gives you the best view of the show from a clawfoot tub.

Sleep No More + Inferno at the McKittrick Hotel

One of the most talked about shows in NYC, the McKittrick Hotel offers a jam-packed night during Halloween. Sleep No More is a unique interactive theatrical experience that is based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The stage takes place across several floors, in which you are free to start on any floor or in any room you want. Character actors will be performing throughout the entire time. You’re free to follow the actors around or explore all the props and settings to make sense of everything, which will give an unforgettable take on the Shakespearean classic. In addition to Sleep No More is the Inferno costume party. Come as a witch, vampire or any other deviant of the night time to get the full experience of this Halloween Party.

Village Halloween Parade

The Village Halloween Parade has been going on 45 years strong, being one of the most famous Halloween Parade NYC has to offer. The theme this year will be “I AM a Robot!,” which will bring over thousands of people marching in the parade, along with puppets, dancers, artists, floats and more.

The Rise of Jack O'Lanterns

Old Westbury Gardens is the spot one of the most renowned Long Island Halloween events. The Rise of Jack O’Lanterns offers a wooded path at night where you can walk through hundreds of carefully carved pumpkins that are done with impressive artistry. The pumpkin carvings include a 40-foot dragon, a life-sized fire truck, famous movie scenes and more. Afterwards, you can kick back beneath the stars to some apple cider and cider donuts.
