Valentine's Day in New York City

January 22, 2018

Whether you’re single on Valentine’s Day, planning to go out with your other single friends or simply looking for something different to do with a date, we’ve got a good mix of events lined up. From running to dining to nightlife, check out our list of great NYC Valentine’s Day ideas.

Cupid’s Undie Run

Saturday, February 10 from 12PM-4PM

Stage 48 at 605 W 48th St, New York, NY

It’s that time of year again, where you break out your red or pink undies and boxers and make a run for it, Risky Business-style (for a good cause, of course). Cupid was on a mission to create love in the air, and Cupid’s Undie Run is here to do just as much magic for the world. The run is a fundraiser to find a cure for neurofibromatosis (a disease that creates nasty tumors in the brain, spinal cord and nervous system). So, run with your heart on your sleeve with just your underwear to give a helping hand!

Speed Dating

Tuesday, February 13th at 8PM

Flute at 205 W 54th St, New York NY 10019

Dateless in New York City? Fear not, as a speed dating event is here to save the night. This event brings some good looking Tinder profiles to life (with the hopes of swiping right to the bar with them afterwards). Grab a sexy shade of lipstick or crisp collared shirt and head to the speed dating event where you’ll find some pre-qualified ladies and gents that may be the next love of your life (or at least a date for Valentine’s Day). Since the event will take place at Flute, make it like Jidenna’s “Boomerang,” and begin your night with some jokes at champagne.

Dinners in the Dark

Wednesday, February 14 at 5PM or 8:30PM

CAMAJE at 85 MacDougal St, New York, NY 10012

While the rest of the world is woo-ing their loved ones over dinner, forego giving anyone a sexy look and enjoy a delicious dinner in the dark. No, not really in the dark but with blindfolds. Dinners in the Dark brings an experience that elevate everything about enjoying our meals. Without the use of sight, the aromas, textures and flavors are savored in a whole new way. There won’t be any lovey dovey action at this dinner table, just surprising sensations revolving around an amazing meal.

Lust: Valentine’s Day

Friday, February 9 from 7PM-3AM

Lot 45 at 411 Troutman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11237
Do you have temptations for the taboo? Lust is an event that brings debauchery and desires to the table (and we mean this literally). Dinner is served on the bare bodies of beautiful male and female models. While the decadent food is enjoyed by hand, there are also maidens and man slaves that will help serve you, as well. The rest of the night brings you interactive and erotic art installations and performances, which may include hot wax candles to burlesque performers. Don your dominatrix wear, or even just some leather will do and enjoy a sinful night!

The Amazing Valentine’s Day New York Scavenger Hunt

Sunday, February 11 from 1:30-4:30PM

Slattery's Midtown Pub at 8 East 36th Street, #3, New York, NY 10016

Want to get off the couch and have fun while you’re getting a workout? Get yourself into a good old scavenger hunt with friends of your own, or join a team to meet some new ones! The hunt is a great way to challenge the mind and even more awesome for burning some of that brunch burrito and mojito calories. Join in the fun for Valentine’s Day NYC-style on this three-hour scavenger hunt.

House of Boutique: Valentine’s Market

Sunday, February 11 from 1PM-7PM

House of Yes at 2 Wyckoff Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237

The House of Boutique is a little piece of heaven for the handmade kind of hipster. Normally, the House of Yes is home of amazingly lit parties, filled with fun themes that can include bubbles, leather or acrobats. On February 11, they’ll host a market of all things artisanal, handmade, upcycled, vintage and more. From jewelry to home decor to clothing, get your next cutest earrings for Coachella here, made by local artisans and vendors.

Valentine’s Day with Dine & Design

Thursday, February 15th at 6PM

Piquant at 259 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Don’t just lull at home by yourself, head to Piquant to get your paint and drank on. You’ll get a wine glass or beer mug with your ticket and access to paints, brushes and an apron. After a glass of sangria or two, let your creative juices flow. At the very least, you don’t go home on Valentine’s Day empty-handed. Go home with your own customized work of art, ready to be filled up and enjoyed for a night of Netflix binging.

New York Club Crawl

Single or not, club crawling is for everyone! Whether it’s your girl squad, the guys or your beau, drinks and dancing are in order. And of course, if you’re going to head on out, why be like everyone else? Ditch the long lines and full-priced drinks to just one spot for the night. Instead, party with New York Club Crawl and hit up four hot clubs and lounges in one evening. Tickets include express entry, drink specials (with some free ones for some extra crunk vibes) and no cover charges. This year make sure to attend their Cupids Club Crawl because why not do something you both love, like  Partying! Get your tickets here
